Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines is an American airline that was founded in 1994. This company is owned by Republic Airways Holding. Today, the airline operates flights to 90 destinations located in Mexico, Costa Rica, the United States and several other countries. This company doesn’t apply to airlines that fly worldwide. Frontier Airlines uses airports in Omaha, Denver, Kansas and Milwaukee as its main hubs.

The company operates most of the flights itself, but there are also codeshare flights. These are flights that are organized together with another airline – Great Lakes Airlines.

Republic Airways Holding acquired the company in 2009. The fact is that the financial crisis had a serious impact on Frontier Airlines, and the airline declared itself bankrupt. After that, the procedure for buying the company was carried out, and thanks to this, Frontier Airlines did not disappear from the air transportation market.

The company has a relatively small fleet. It consists of 109 aircrafts. Most often, the airline uses the Airbus A320neo. Frontier Airlines has 68 of these planes.

Flights of this airline most often arrive at Evans (North) terminal. However, sometimes there are exceptions and flights arrive at the McNamara terminal.
